 Virtual Workforce Workstation (VWW)

COMPUTER USAGE IS AVAILABLE TO:  Anybody who is working to improve their job skills, reach education or training goals, and increase their chances of becoming employed.

COMPUTER USAGE IS LIMITED TO
:
  • Web browsing that includes: Searching for job openings, researching the labor market or potential employers, exploring careers and performing self-assessments (job-seekers’ skills, abilities, and interests), researching self-employment and finding resources to create a new business
  • Email: Communicating with potential employers, references, and other job-seekers
  • Word processing: Writing resumes and cover letters
  • Tutorials and classes: Studying for GED and ESL tests, completing vocational certification programs, completing online classes or tutorials
  • Practicing basic computer skills or learning new software skills using online tutorials
